The Maricopa County Air Quality and Environmental Services Departments are coming to The Gifted Collective to share about the importance of a clean and healthy environment. In this class, children become scientits and

• Examine mystery particles in our air and identify air pollutants

• Use the engineering design process to design a storm sewer to manage stormwater runoff in an urban environment, learn where stormwater runoff goes, and brainstorm ideas to prevent stormwater runoff pollution

• Learn about the mosquito life cycle and observing different stages under a microscope and learn about how they spread viruses like West Nile
