Dr. Rebekah West Keur
Dr. Rebekah West Keur is a Secondary School Instructional Professional with Arizona State University and Herberger Young Scholars Academy, specializing in gifted programming, curriculum, instruction, and leadership. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented.
She is an accomplished educator and teacher leader in gifted education, elementary, middle school, high school, and college education with an emphasis in humanities, gifted education, and professional development. Dr. Keur has been working in the field of gifted education for the past fifteen years in elementary school through college programs in Title I, suburban, national, and international settings, including working with Johns Hopkins CTY program and DDC for gifted youth. Dr. Keur has presented at the Arizona Association of Gifted and Talented (AAGT), the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), and SENG conferences.
Dr. Keur has a Doctorate in Leadership and Innovation, focusing on Increasing Equity in Gifted Programming from Arizona State University, and an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Gifted Education from Arizona State University. Dr. Keur also holds an administrative certification and has studied in English master's programs at ASU and Oxford. In addition, she has earned multiple degrees from Grand Valley State University, including an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, a B.A. in English, and a B.A. in Theater and Communications.
